I’ve had enough - goodbye Land Cruiser

I can’t bare with the reliability issues anymore. Between the squealing brakes and the missing sunglasses holder, I just can’t count on the Land Cruiser to get me to the kids soccer practice reliably. It’s been a miserable year of ownership, and I’ve had enough.

My POS will be listed in the marketplace soon (asking $83k to account for what I’ve spend on spacers, 3D printed accessories, and other long-term investment mods - I know what I’ve got so no low ballers) as soon as I decide what vehicle will replace it. Currently deciding between a Grand Wagoneer, Kia Telluride, or BMW 8-series.

There are literally dozens of us. Besides, I heard a nasty rumor that the Land Cruiser isn’t even actually a Toyota, rather it is a spin-off product from fashion company Prada, just with fake Toyota badging. Let’s start a class action for fraud!

I bought my new one, fully loaded, for 72K last week. You can get a new GX 550 for $83K. Then you want someone to buy if it's been at the Dealer on and off this last year for problems. The dealer can't install a glasses pop down space if there isn't a space for them. The squeeling brakes, find another mechanic to fix the problem if that dealer can't.

Am I being to harsh? Need to throttle back some?

I actually need to increase the price, probably looking at $90k, because of all of the patina I’ve added. You’re not being as harsh as the ride quality on this car - I thought this was a Toyota, after all, which makes such legends as the Tercel!

Wow. You don't know what you're talking about. Internationally it's known as the Land Cruiser Prado. It's a sub-model in the Land Cruiser line.

Your original post had some valid points, but nothing about what you posted has anything to do with the "reliability" you seem to be complaining about.
