I started my car this morning and noticed I lost most of my instrument clusters. Thought if I turned off the car and turned it back on, it would reset and come back, but it’s still blank.

Has this happened to anyone else? If so, is there a fix?

I think this is the first - I’ve not seen this problem -have you had ur LC long ?

I got it in mid July. I brought it into the dealer. They managed to get the graphics back for now but said the unit needed to be replaced. They opened up an incident with Toyota and ordered the part. They said it would take minimum 3 weeks because the car is so new. Good news is, the car still runs fine. If it goes out again, I won’t be able to turn on/off safety features and my HUD won’t work.

I was logged in my own profile, all my settings were working, just not the dash.

It happened to me about a month ago. I thought the same on the restart but it didn’t work. The car sat overnight and was fine the next morning. No problems since. You’re the first person that’s had the same experience as far as I know.

Try disconnecting the battery for several minutes and see if that brings it back. If not, then I guess it's stealership time...

This happened to me too, about 2 weeks after I bought my PC FE. Had roughly 300 miles on it and I turned it in and the dials were blank other than the engine temp on the bottom and a large digital MPH in the middle, no heads up display as well. After I left it overnight they all magically turned on again and hasn’t been a problem since (one month later).

Just happened to mine around 8k miles.

Hopefully all is well after letting it sit over night.

EDIT: let it sit for 30 mins and the gauge works again.

Is this disappearing dash display becoming a rite of passage? I'll go check in a few hours to see if it has self-healed.

Edit: Checked again 2 hours later and we are back to normal.

Dang just had it happen to mine at 4K miles! Interesting that I am not the only one. Honestly, this was my hesitation with digital gauge clusters. SAD!

Hi folks, chiming in here as I've had the exact same issue. It went away after sitting for a while and the dealer refused to look at it. Hoping to eventually get some insight into the cause.

My dealership replaced the unit. Was it overkill? I don't know. When it went out I was a couple blocks from the dealership. I pulled into the service area and the service manager was the one who helped me. He could not get it to show up. I work a block from the dealership, so I left my car there while I went to work. After about 5-6 hours, they called me and said they got it working again. They didn't say what they did to get it working again, but they decided to order and replace the entire unit under warranty and opened an incident with Toyota. They told me it would take about 3 weeks to get the part but it was more like 2 weeks and took a little less than a day to replace. Knock on wood, I haven't had any problems since.

My service advisor refused to look at it under warranty because it was not doing it when I got to the dealer. I was not happy. They said they would charge me unless it was actively doing it when I drove in.

That's too bad. Hopefully, all is good now. If not, I'd try another dealer.

This was my vehicles condition after starting this AM.
Tried the reset no luck.
Went grocery shopping came back out all fixed.
My guess a software up date of some sort and it takes time to adpt, load, morph.
Minor issue so far, unlike the US junk, especially like the foreign owned and ruined junk like jeep that would not be anywhere near as easy to rectify.

Happened to me last week. I posted about it not seeing it already here. I read the manual and tried everything but nothing worked. Came back to car a couple hours later and everything had gone back to normal. Hasn't happened since.
