Has anyone who's lifted their LC installed the ICON Front Diff Relocation kit? I have one but the steel sleeve inside the urethane bushing for the main/driver side mount, at the cross member/non-diff side, is much larger than the OEM bolt that you're instructed to use. Curious if anyone has seen this......

I installed one on mine, I had no issues like you describe.

I think mine may have come with a bolt as well as the two ny-lock nuts but can’t remember for sure and can’t check as I’m in Japan till Oct.

I’d check to see if the other bolt from the opposite side fits as the sleeves are supposed to be the same dimensions. Also possible the sleeve got opened up when pressed in, mine came assembled already even though directions say you have to assemble the bushings and sleeves?

Mine came with the 2 bolts and unlocks for the passenger side mount, but no other hardware.

At what point in a lift does a diff. drop become a necessary upgrade? If i remember correctly, LSLC250 is running 2"?

2” or more front lift from any of good lifts available require diff drop and new UCAs t0 have the warranty from the lift manufacturer apply.

I'm running approx 2.5" in the front, and do have the OME UCA's. Dealership was able to bring it into factory alignment specs no problem

Alignment isn’t the issue here, it’s the increased CV axle angles due to the lift which can only be corrected by lowering the front diff. Also any extended travel gained from a lift will make those angles really drastic at full droop and likely cause axle binding followed by breaking.

All agreed. ICON got back to me asking me to verify the sizes of the sleeve, mine measured out to their specs, but there's an 1/8th" (0.125) difference between the bolt and the sleeve.

Did they offer a solution or suggested fix?

They have not yet, but the fact that they asked me to verify the sizes they sent me suggests that they will tell me that it's designed/shipped correctly. Do you happen to remember if you noticed that much play/slop in your kit?

I didn’t notice that but I’m going to have to check now. Won’t be able to until MID October though as I’m in Japan until then.

Unfortunately I noticed it after installing, when driving, there's a bit of "clunking" in certain situations. Similar to when a loose sway bar end link makes noise, but I've checked all the suspension and it's as tight and torqued as it should be, then I checked this.
