I received this electric cooler for Father’s Day. I am going on a log trip and planning on plugging it in the rear compartment. Has anyone had any experience with this? That may help me out.
Thanks

Bill, I have the ICECO 20 and it works perfectly plugging it into the rear 120v. May I suggest you consider a small power bank like the Anker 300 or similar. Plug the fridge into the power bank and then the power bank into the rear outlet. It will allow you to leave the vehicle for up to about 12 hours (ICECO 20) with the fridge running before needing to recharge the battery. Battery charges very quickly while driving. A bigger battery like a 500 will give you more flexibility. The ICECO is not a cooler, so it needs to be powered all the time.

Ok thanks. Great information. We will be continually driving and not really stopping except, of course, for gas. Do I have to turn on the switch on the dash?
