How do you transport your dogs in the rear seat?

I'm looking for recommendations on what to buy to maintain a clean interior for the times I have to transport our Bernedoodle when he's not in the wife's car.

They make plastic molds to match the back of the rear seats and they attach by velcro or hook straps to protect that backseat mesh from fur getting deep into the material. LC seat covers. Pet hammocks...

Liner covering all areas and a crate strapped down on top of the liner.

I usually just wipe the drool off with my sleeve.
Seriously though I tilted the second row seats for the first time in a few months and it's pretty gnarly under there. This is a daunting task.

Someone here recommended the Orvis one (I believe it was the larger size), so I got that. Seems to work well enough for the few times our dog is in my car. He still gets nose prints and drool on the windows and drool on the center console armrest, but those aren't a big deal to me.

My girlfriend has some no-name Amazon one in her Subaru and it seems about on par with the Orvis one, but cost less - so I am not sure how much the brand name matters at all unless you care about such things.

They all (or at least both of ours) seem to have holes designed to get seatbelt/harness attachments through.

The downside, for me, is what to do with it when not in use. Most of the time I just leave it, as it doesn't appear to block the battery vents - one nice thing about it is you can sort of hide things under it if you don't want people snooping when you are parked.
If not leaving it, it doesn't really pack down to a small size.

Someone linked this one in the dog thread, I have it and like it for its good coverage. It's staying in place and (the premium edition version) is split so I can fold down either side of the bench and it all stays in place. However, there's not much grip, so my guy prefers the cargo area where I have a squishy bed pillow thing and a Ruffland kennel. I vacuum every week.

That premium one with the split looks very nice - the downside (for me) is that it doesn't appear to hammock (e.g. connect to rear headrests and the front headrests, blocking the dog from falling into the footwell (as well as blocking more hair distribution).

Here's what I got.

Been using this many years for the previous 4Runner without a back seat liner and just got the new liner for the LC (Both sides zip up or you can hang one flap down over the side of the seat to protect it when they jump in)

My Vizsla has short hair and in the 4Runner with softex seats we just let him be on the seats and after a few months his hair would be thick everywhere all underneath and hard to vacuum even with special attachments so were hoping the liner really works, but if not that's life with the hairball.
