Been driving my lc for a while now and loving every minute of it! Hoping to learn some tips and tricks from my fellow lc drivers. Question, when i bought my car, i was pressured to buy the "premium package" eg, dent protection, wheel and tire cosmetic protection, etc and man they're not cheap! Should I keep them or cancel it? Thoughts?

You can always say no - although I don't know how they all work after the fact - at my dealer I don't think you can cancel them once purchased, it is just a yes or no and then paid.

The wheel is maybe good if you are in a city and think you will curb it enough to care - but on an offroad vehicle in its actual use case seems inevitable and I would question how much they cover when it comes time to claim (I am sure they will refinish it if you get curb rash though). It is an obvious no if you are going to get rid of the stock wheels for something custom a week after purchase like many on here. The tire stuff, I suspect if you read it carefully, is likely useless, as they are going to be loathe to cover an offroad vehicle and buying new tires from punctures (or maybe it just says they will repair/plug them if and when possible, I don't know).

I don't know dent protection - but things like ppf and/or ceramic are pretty worthwhile to many, that is more scratch protection.

As to whether you should keep them or not, up to you - not for me to say.

For mine I did ppf on the front and ceramic (and come summer I may get more ppf done as the one I had done wasn't particularly impressive - could see bubbles - and the ceramic likely redone every summer, but not at the dealer - even then my dealer just had someone come in and do it they don't have anyone in-house, at least for ppf), wheel protection (and in retrospect I probably shouldn't have as I don't think I will necessarily keep the 20" stock that I have - it was just a knee jerk after living in cities for most of my life - even though now I don't lol), but I didn't do anything else (I did prepay some service). Even then, it is nearly assuredly a ripoff if you drill down into it and compare to just sourcing it on your own as the need comes up, as they are not in the business of doing those things and not profiting from it - but I buy a car infrequently and the price was "fine" to me, so I didn't particularly care about maximizing value on that. If you aren't keeping the car long or money is tight - I definitely say avoid them (although I would also say probably avoid a Land Cruiser in general if that is the case).

Depends what you bought, need more specifics the packages vary depending on what the dealership offers.
Spare wheel sets like new are cheap on this forum, get a set. A good set for sale in Berkeley now.
Dent protection WTH is that? PPF?
My guess you are getting hosed on make believe stuff vs real stuff that matters.

BTW Welcome Girl.

There is a difference between the premium package which is a bundle of features and the dealer or port installed extras like door protectors, clear coats, and rust protection etc.

If you don't want the dealer extras, find a "clean configuration" without them or insist the dealer not charge you for them in your out the door price.
