Hello for Arizona!

Picked up a 1958 about 6 weeks ago as our do it all, take us anywhere family vehicle. Between a few big camping and road trips and daily driving, we have already rung up ~3000 miles! I LOVE this thing!

Currently looking to swap out the 245/70R18 Yokohamas for something more appropriate for the truck. Thinking BFG KO3s in 265/70R18 or 275/70R18. Want something foolproof to get to and from some pretty remote AZ fishing spots… even if a monsoon hits while I’m out. I’m open to suggestions.

There are many tire threads on this forum. I hope you find the info that you need to make the right choice for you and your family. Markarian421 has a spread sheet on tires, where you can check the tire weights, etc. Heavier tires will rob you of MPG.

Thanks Ultane. I’ve been lurking for some time now and I’ve found that spreadsheet to be a pretty impressive resource. I’ve already learned a ton from the community and I’m anxious to learn more. Much appreciated!
