I like the looks of all these centric bumpers I just worry about if you remove the crash zones then what is the front bumper actually doing. If you have a side impact on either side of the center you are pretty much done. Does anyone else worry about that?

I sure do. I loved the DV8 bumper but when I realized I you gotta cut out crash stuff I just don’t know how I feel about that. Curious how others feel too.

I'm in the same boat. Style wise I really like how these retain much of the stock look of the front and provide a housing for the winch. That said removing the crash structure without adding anything that takes its place is a no go for me.

I like it, not sure what it has to offer that’s makes it double the price of a C4 bumper. I was hoping they would do a more full bumper. Maybe in the works. The welds and the design of the recovery points are actually functional though compared to some brands out that… “look beefy” and that’s all they got going for them.
