It was pointed out in another post that one of the inmates only had four cross bars on his First Edition roof rack, not five. Miss Daisy is missing one as well. I am sure that there are more of us.

They are all four from what I've seen, not sure what Toyota was thinking other than for us to cough up another $100 to close the opening.
I saw that thread also, and now am really curious as to what this actually looks like. For the rest of us that don’t know what the FE roof rack looks like; can someone post a pic of the opening?

Toyota should provide the fifth cross bar to all of us who are missing one.
I simply bought one and moved on with my life. Easier than trying to get Toyota to cough it up. But I agree with the sentiment, the rack should have come with 5 cross bars.

Yes, but the racks are designed for 5, therefore the trucks should come with 5. Really cheap of Toyota to save a few bucks here..,
Less bars, less wind noise at highway speeds in my experience. Perhaps Toyota just allowed for flexibility by having another mounting point.
Mine came with 4. The ones with 5 maybe was installed as a PIO "incorrectly". If it makes anybody feel better, I think my Prinsu Pro rack is missing one as well - there's a gap that needs an extra bar...

Get the 5th one to stabilize/fully rigid the roof rack itself, but also having more attachments for roof accessories

Can you or anyone else tell me the part number for the crossbar ?
