FE Rock Rails... ends not sealed. Solution(s)?

Anyone have an approach to plugging the tube ends? Seems like a really bad idea to have water end up in there long term.

If they are open, what ever water does get in there, can get right back out. And if there is dirt and debris, it can be hosed right out of there..
