Anyone install the DV8 center console molle panels? Any issues? It seems like they may limit leg room or even rub against the drivers leg…wondering if anyone has them installed & if so, how you like them. Pics of install would be great, thanks!

Not enough room, wait till the girls get cut etc and s o on, bad bad idea.

I installed them they are awesome and do not limit leg room depending on what you mount to them. Issues? if you have a 1958 you will not have any issues and the install is like 15 min. If you have a mid level or above you will have some issues. The Mid and first edition have soft touch by the center console. That soft touch has material behind the the exterior material. if you do not make some small slits and remove the material where you are drilling it will wind up on the drill bit. ( ASK ME HOW I KNOW). If you use a small exacto you will be able to clear away enough material to not wind up. Once installed they are amazing looking.

I sat in a new Cruiser with them on both sides, there are contact and abrasive to more serious injuries issues if you are a full sized adult.
Otherwise or unoccupied passenger side only knock yourself out.

Does not mess with my leg room or rub at all. I do not tens to rest my knee on my console at all. so I feel like it is a body mechanic's issue. How do you tend to sit in your rig.

Its the moving around that rubs and creates problems not stationary.

How did you attach the holster?

Rather, I guess I should ask, how do you attach anything? (I've never used the "molle" panels before and am trying to figure out a use case for me, holster could be one thing).

I would think about buying the 1958 console sides from Toyota if I was going to install the DV8 panels and hang onto the padded panels that come with the higher trim level. Switch them out when I don't need the DV8 molle panels.

The holster is a left hand from the company Alien Gear. They make shells that can move from one install to another. I am right handed so I would not use it but with the push of a button I can remove from the mount and if I had the belt mount I could attach it to that. So I found the mount I needed and I had to drill one hole in the DV8 to attach 2 screws with nylock nuts behind it is super secure!
