2025 Land Cruiser LC250
Hi All!

I just traded in my 2023 Tesla Model 3 Performance for a 2025 Land Cruiser and man am I happy I did!

I got the LC 250, Underground color and black leather interior with the premium package with the 20" wheels. This truck is so cool! I wanted one for a while but felt the 1958 was a bit too stripped down for my tastes. So when a brand new LC250 showed up at my local dealer with all of the features I wanted, I jumped on it.

I really did love my Model 3, it was actually my second 3 and I drove the two of them for over 7 years but after a move to NJ and 2 winters here, the Tesla was just not well suited for wet / snow / salt. The paint got several chips and started to peel from the salt and ice, and I was always bit hesitant driving it in the rain. The car rattled a lot, especially on NJ's not so well maintained roads. The auto wipers never worked right. Worst of all, due to the politics of Elon, the resale price of the car completely tanked. But I didn't come here to rant about Tesla, I came to rave about my new Toyota!

I really really really love this Land Cruiser! We had a massive rainstorm last night and I felt so confident driving in it. The LC is far quieter inside than my Tesla! No more rattles and squeaks, I had kind of tuned them out for the Tesla but once I started driving the LC I really noticed just how crappy the build quality was on the Model 3. The LC just feels so much more solidly built and assembled.

I'm in love with my car again, it's been while since I felt this way. I'm glad to be a part of the Toyota family yet again, we also have a 2017 Sienna and have had Toyota trucks and a Prius in the past.

Welcome to the forum! I am surprised to hear the LC is quieter than the Tesla, but, have never been in a Tesla...

Traded in my Model S and never looked back. With two Kuat fork mounts on top of the Tesla, now the LC -- the LC is definitely quieter.

The Tesla would constantly squeak and creak inside. The LC has engine noise, which the Tesla didn't, but the windows seemed to leak air and the door trim / plastic parts really seemed to creak and rattle, and you heard road / tire noise quite a bit in the Tesla. It was present in both Teslas I had, it's like their parts had too much of a gap between them or just weren't fit very tightly. Over time It became very noticeable, especially when going the much quieter LC.

For better or worse, a Tesla (and most electric vehicles) are more like an appliance. They are nice to have, but they don't evoke much on the emotive side. Welcome to something a lot more fun!

Congrats on the new LC and welcome to the forum!
