Last night while driving through a snowstorm, the dash lit up with alerts telling me the sensors were obscured and that various driver assists were turned off. There were warning lights and a box in the middle of the gauge cluster. The alert in the middle of the gauge cluster wouldn’t dismiss, or rather it would dismiss, then come right back. Does anyone know how to dismiss it and leave it gone?

You won't like the answer, but clean the sensors. Otherwise the warning just keeps coming back. I appreciate that even if you clean the snow off the sensors that more snow will take it's place and you will be back to square one.

Yeah, I was afraid of that. There wasn’t exactly anywhere safe to pull over last night, and the alerts became somewhat distracting. Appreciate the quick response

I asked the service rep at the Toyota dealer about this, he just said, yea it’s an issue! So after further conversation with him, they don’t have a fix…
