Not many can tell what cop car head lights look like as easy as others, but i noticed (at night) that on the freeway fast cars tend to slow down around or in front of my LCLC haha. Not trying not to exaggerate! It happened quite often and i began to ask myself "why did this car all of a sudden slow down?" One time at a 4-way Stop intersection, a car clearly ran it but then slammed after the line in front of me haha.

My LC is Underground color btw. So maybe the lighter colors dont notice this? But next time youre on the road at night, observe how the other cars in front of you react haha.

I have noticed the same, and I have an LC 1958 in the meteor showercolor, similar to sheriff vehicles in Minnesota.

Hi, you have a very interesting and funny observation. You are an unsung hero. You are keeping us safe by slowing down the traffic.

I’m in Raleigh, NC. Heritage blue is basically the same color as Raleigh police. Heritage blue was my only hard no that I refused to go near.

Traveling on the nearby interstate quite a bit and people will slow down or pull in behind me to see if it's a police vehicle at least a few times a week. On long trips of 3-5 hours it happens frequently enough that I took notice of it. I think it's hilarious!

Okay so were not the only ones hahaha. so hilarious tho right haha

Just another theory here. These rigs have striking looks. People often slow down in city traffic to take a gander. They are still new/rare enough that people havent seen them around a lot.
I have had Miss Daisy since last July. People still come up to me in parking lots asking me about her.

At least once a month some strangers from all walks of life come up to me and compliment the vehicle. So far I have had office executives, soccer moms, software engineers, truck mechanics, delivery workers, and parking lot attendants, as well as a walking band of door to door Jehovah's Witnesses. Quite a cross section of American life.

Mine is black and I have definitely noticed this. Most of the police vehicles around here are blacked out Ford Explorers. Close enough.
