Curious if anyone has come out with a modified cubby panel cover for the rear trunk so that the lid doesn’t come off. I’ve seen video reviews of the new 4runner and those lids don’t come off completely like ours.
I keep my surf gear (wax, sunscreen, ear plugs) and mountain bike stuff (rack key, wheel locks) down there and use it pretty frequently. Would be nice if there was a more sturdy solution that didn’t require me to always line things back up.
It’s a small issue but id welcome a mod.
