I got mine today and just finished installing it. Expensive, but in my opinion a quality unit. Very well engineered. Easy install, solid, and quickly removable . All parts are well made, included in the kit .Has anyone used the Carbonio no drill license plate mount for their LC? Or, on any other vehicle?

I looked at several of these. I respect your opinion, but I actually purchased, installed and have had hands on with this unit. Yes it's expensive, but it's not going to break the grill when or if you bump something. It's engineered to distribute any pressures to the plate holder over a wide area. It's cushioned and multi adjustable on the brackets as to not mar any plastic or paint and position the plate exactly where you want it. You can position the plate center, right or left as you see fit in addition to a high or low mount. It's adjustable for several grills should you sell your LC. It's also removable in seconds for off road use. You get what you pay for..... and although expensive this unit isn't a joke.140USD for plate bracket, who's kidding who here.
What a joke.
The entire thing could be fabbed in a simple garage in a few minutes with scrap parts.
It's a joke to me at that price point. Supposed to be grill mounted, doesn't look that way in the picture.
Way too much pimpin going on here.It looks s indeed grill mounted
Buy one, reverse engineer it, then fab it in your garage. Undercut the price, expand to the collector car/show car market and make a mint! I’m not pimping this at all. I bought one, installed it and like the way it’s made. Heck had you done that, I’d bought one from you providing it’s equal in materials and quality. The entire thing could be fabbed in a simple garage in a few minutes with scrap parts.

It uses a drop down mount attachment on two sides. You arrach the plate mount to that. Clean, sturdy and fully adjustable. Watch the install video. I love mine.how does that work different than some gorilla glue double sided tape ?
I've had the Carbonio on my truck for the better part of a year and love it. No holes drilled in my bumper and it looks pretty good. I also remove it whenever I'm going off-road (takes less than a minute to remove or install after the initial set-up.)Wow. A lot of negativity here. Agreed, it's expensive. It's also a niche item and, in the end, I don't want to drill into my bumper. I did a search for recommendations because I just got my LC and in Texas I have to have a front plate. Yes, you can drive without it. Having working at a police agency in the past, it's also a rolling probable cause for a traffic stop, let alone a ticket. Thanks Thx_1158 for your recommendation. I was debating between this and one that mounts offset to the grill. Didn't like that as much because I didn't want to block any air flow to the radiator.
Me too. But, then, a front plate is not required where I live.I’ve just been driving around without a front plate.
You are welcome. I love mine and it only stings when you first buy it (forgo a few Starbucks runs if you must). It's been on my LC a year and looks great with only seconds to remove when off roading. As I said...you get what you pay for.Wow. A lot of negativity here. Agreed, it's expensive. It's also a niche item and, in the end, I don't want to drill into my bumper. The front plate mount came in a plastic bag along with the small tow-hitch cover (not the diaper) with my LC. I live in Wyoming, and most of my life, a front plate has been a requirement. When I picked up the plates for the LC, I asked about the current state law (which had changed) on front plates and was told if there was "no front plate mount, a front plate was not required." So, I have never mounted the factory bracket. I, too, am not excited about drilling holes in my bumper.Wow. A lot of negativity here. Agreed, it's expensive. Me too. A rebel I suppose...I’ve just been driving around without a front plate.
I just got my bracket and it looks like to mount it, I'll need to block part of the radiator. Did anyone find this to be the case and if so, was it an issue? Also, don't want to block any sensors cruise control sensors, which I'm guessing are by the front lower camera? You are welcome.
