Just getting ready for the hurricane season here in Tx and last time was out of power for a week. Had to throw a lot of prepared food that was in the freezer but could not heat it up. Was wondering if LC can handle a microwave and run it for a few min at a time

Better bet is a Power station (like the EcoFlo Delta 3 pro). I say that because you can put it on a counter top and use it indoors and use it to run a toaster oven, convection hot plate, coffee maker, air fryer, fan, TV, lights etc........ and charge it up from the LC if needed.

Sure you can, especially if you are on the road. Also it is nice to have a good generator at home. I live in North East, we do not have hurricanes too often, but I still have 6.5kW gasoline Yamaha generator. Serves me well for the last 10 years and I use it 4-6 times every year. Power outages can occur due to a wide range of factors, mostly because of the fallen trees since I live in the rural area.
