Has anyone installed C4 skid plates? If so, what are your thoughts regarding fit, finish and quality of manufacturing? Can you still use the OEM tow hooks? The tapered washers are also a nice feature on the C4 skids.
I prefer aluminum but it appears C4 is one of the few manufacturers that use the tow hook bolts to attach the front skid. More importantly, C4 has removable panels for the oil filter and drain plug.
Victory doesn’t appear to have an access panel for the oil pan drain bolt. Am I missing something? Do you have to remove the skid plate to change the oil if you install the Victory skids?
