Looks great! My meteor goes in tomorrow. I’m slated to get gloss black on roof and A-pillars. I waffled for weeks on whether or not to do the A-pillars. The only pic of a wrap w/ the pillars was on a white (below) and i think/hope the way it works so well on white carries over to the meteor. Worst case, i can always unwrap the pillars if i don’t like it

Yes you can.
Any small angle on a parking lot you can see it. Specially from the front with the rake.

The side look is the money shot for sure.
But isn't bad from the front. I had similar ideas (doing just the side section) a while ago but ended not doing anything yet.

what are you guys paying for the roof wrap? or doing it yourself?? this shop just quoted me $1030 and i just laughed.

That’s about the going rate here in SoCal. If you want it done right, it takes time and attention to detail. Time (labor) is expensive.

Looks fire my 1958 is blacked out I wish I could duplicate the trail dust color for a wrap just to do my roof in trail dust. I wonder if they could match the color for the wrap.

Black vehicle roof will tend to absorb more heat from the sun than a lighter-colored roof. First hand experience with my former Land Rover Discovery. I think that's was the reason why the original LCs often featured white roofs...

I did a gloss black whole roof, no A pullers myself and yes… it’s a lot of work but taking some time and using knifeless tape on some areas helps a lot. I need to redo the rear spoiler but other than that things are great.

I have never been a fan of that color, but doing the roof in black makes it very attractive! Great look.
