Does anyone know if a BFG KO3 265/70/18 tire will fit in the spare tire compartment of my '25 LC250 1958 Edition? THANKS in advance.

No problem! For comparison, my 285/70/18 spare, which is 28mm larger diameter and 20mm larger width, fits fine (though the width slightly reduces departure angle).

I see. What brand are your 285's? When I searched Tire Rack with my vehicle spec the only matches that came back were the BFG. KO3's and the OEM Yokohamas.

I think that is factory size. I have that exact KO3 tire in my spare. I’m looking to go up to 34 now that I have a lift. Reportedly those fit as well.

Edit: I don’t have a 1958, but I haven’t heard of a difference there.
