Hi everyone. New to the forum. I have a 2024 1958 in white. I've so far added a Prinsu pro roofrack, 180 awning and privacy awning. Also built a removable tray system to hold fridge, induction stove and kitchen. Upgraded tires to BFG KO3's and wrapped the whole vehicle in PPF. I'm mostly a camper so no extreme mods planned. I am looking for what I hope is simple advice. How in the world are the 25mm auxilliary switch blanks in dash removed. I can brute force them but there must be a simple way of releasing them. I will be installing some auxiliary lights on the roof rack and want to run a switch/relay.

Welcome to the Jungle!

The blanks are just secured by friction. If you don't care about the blank, the easiest way to remove them and ensure you don't damage the surrounding trim face, is to screw in a drywall screw into the center and yank it out. If you want to save the blank, press the blank from the rear and it'll pop out.

The EOD guy is absolutely spot on with both points. I personally removed the panels by simply popping them out from the inside.
