Hello again everyone,

To get everyone up to speed wife’s 24’ Land Cruiser is having alignment issues after installing lift, wheels/tires.

2024 Land Cruiser
Westcott Designs 2.5”/.75” level/lift
Method 323 wheels 17x9 +25 offset
Falken wildpeak AT4w 35x11.50

Installed everything last week to find out no one in our town could do an alignment.. drove 60 miles to get an alignment done for $240 🤮

Was told they couldn’t get it perfect because of the lift and wheels and tires.. however the steering wheel is canted to the left and the vehicle pulls right.

I’m no alignment expert but I feel they could get closer on the specs.. or at least so each side is symmetrical?

Anyone else had this issue?
Any suggestions?

Attached is alignment readout and current setup.. man she looks good. Really want to figure this out!

Stock upper control arms I'm guessing?
I feel like they didn't try very hard.
If they can get 3.5 caster on one side then they should have been able to get the other side at least close to that, unless something else is really wrong.

It will pull to one side with the caster being that uneven and that will affect where the wheel is when you're keeping the truck going straight down the road.
3.5 degrees caster is good for stock UCAs and some lift companies state 3.5 as their suggested setting after the lift, so that's not the problem, but they need to be more even.

Sorry you have to deal with this. It's even worse that they're so far away. They should fix this, but I understand the feeling they may not get it right the next time either.
When I lifted my 250 this spring, the place I went to said they didn't have specs for the truck yet, so couldn't align it, and I don't trust the dealer in my town. I learned how to do my own alignment after that and have had pretty good luck with it. I've done it a few times after messing with suspension, adding UCAs, etc. Let me know if you want to get crazy and blow a weekend aligning your own truck and I can fill you in.

Welcome to the asylum.

I hope that you can get this figured out.

I've had nothing but problems with my Tacoma after lifting it. I'm not touching my LC. It's fine just the way it is.

Waow +25mm offset! on a 17x9 rim and 35x11.5! that's insane!

Camber adjustement

While this may be the result of a lazy tech not giving it their true best shot, the true solution is aftermarket UCA's. When you lift more than about 1.5" on most Toyotas, you're getting near the end of the range on the factory arms. Upgraded ones are designed to put you back into the stock alignment geometry range even with a lift. I like the Icon billet ones but there are a couple good quality ones out there. Peak, Icon, JBA, Total Chaos. Pick a set you like and you'll be in business.

It's worth it to get lifetime alignments via Firestone or somewhere similar too for any modified vehicle IMO.
