After market running boards

Might be a risk factor. Personally, would await a known vendor with a good reputation. Made in China, but so are many items nowadays.

I think there are 2 people that has bought the Amazon running boards in another thread, both have positive feedback. They seem to agree on aside from the "toyota" branding, everything else seems similar, build quality, material, and it does what it was made for doing no issue.

I did purchase these aftermarket running boards understanding that as soon as I was able to purchase some used ones I would do so. That being said, they are surprisingly a good fit and very OEM like. I hastily bought them because my wife refused to have to "climb" into the car with a dress on. I would have had no problem keeping them on for as long as I needed to, I just happened to come across a deal on some used OEM ones.

Haha yeah I’m pretty much in the same boat. I’m waiting for some to come up but my little ones are having a hard time climbing in so I was thinking about grabbing these for the time being. Thanks for your reply!
