Has anyone installed aftermarket LED lighting on the interior? Govee makes some cool lights, but they require a cigarette adapter. I'm curious if anyone has installed interior accent lights that use a USB-C power source.

I haven’t started to look at the interior fuses, but someone switched to accessory power and an add a fuse might do the trick for a cleaner install than any existing power port.

I have a different ask. I want exterior lights on both sides of the LC undercarriage to light up a campsite. Texas is snake and scorpion country so need this. I was thinking a light bar installed to side steps/rock rails.

Has anyone done this and if so, what lights do you install?

I just added the obisan cargo area lights (they go where the 3rd row seatbelts attach), and aftermarket liftgate light, and next week I have an upgraded center light coming that is supposedly to be like ten times brighter haha. Project Christmas Tree.

@handy I installed these from lux lighting. Wired to back passenger dome light, they turn on with approach, unlock, door open (OEM functions) as well as by turning the dome light on. Can't wire to normal step light circuit if you want full brightness of the lights as its not a simple 12VDC and ground circuit on the 250. Two per side.

As in rock lights?

Yes I did. I had Govee lights on my previous vehicle so I just switched them over. The second row cigarette adapter is perfect for this application. You can very easily tuck the wire up on the sides of the center console/transmission trim.

I used Velcro for under the front seats for the second row lights and 3m double sided tape for under the front dash
