2025 4runner
1958 owners…how is the ride on pavement? City streets, highway etc? The reviews have been positive on that front so far. I bought a 25 4Runner and it’s jarring enough to the point it’s all you can think about when driving.

Is this your first body on frame solid axle vehicle? You learn to live with a bit of that. It seems the 250 is set up a bit softer than the 4Runner, but it’ll have more roll as a result.

Great on both city streets and the highway. I’m in DC and a couple of days ago even got in some impromptu off road driving going over a couple of medians to pull a U-Turn to get out of a crazy traffic jam near the Kennedy Center. Didn’t even spill my coffee 🙂

I've owned two 4Runners, a Tundra, a Venza, a couple Ford F150's. This LC (mid trim) is by far the most comfortable ride of all of them. And I don't find body roll to be an issue - as long as you don't drive it like a sports car.

I had a 99 4Runner, 2010 tundra, and 2021 Silverado. All of those were clouds compared to the 25 4Runner. Tire pressure at 32psi, hard to explain how bad the ride is. I have a feeling the ‘26 or ‘27 will come with updated shocks/springs because this isn’t the daily driver it used to be.

I drive my LC at 41 psi.

Took to Toyota dealer and they would give more $1500 more than I paid for the 4Runner trade, and I’d pay $1k under msrp for the LC. The LC’s have decent discounts so it’s an ok deal. Gonna sleep on it till Monday.

The end of January, I bought our 1958 for about 6.5k off sticker(Meteor shower) and no weird add-ons other than a 575 doc fee if that helps give you a reference point.

HA!!! I was near crystal city and did the same thing last week. Up and over the median, curb and all, like it was 2x4. Crushes urban and rural, no cap

I've owned 4Rs for the last 30 years. The LC and/or 1958's ride is much more Lexus-like in comparison. But it's also relative. Considering I've also owned a '72, '85 and '96 Bronco so the first 4R felt luxurious. The Bronco was named appropriately. It will buck your ass out of your seat and through the windshield if you aren't buckled in. The new LC is far better than both. Not even close.
