The only real disappointment is the lack of a few items to make it more offroad ready out of the gate, such as tires.^^ MSRP apparently only went up by $500 (less than inflation), so I don't really care that it doesn't come with anything "new" for 2025 (I'm still waiting, mine will likely be a 2025).
I don't think any trim didDid the First Editions not all come with lift gate lights?
Yes they do (at least mine did).Did the First Editions not all come with lift gate lights?

My LC trim premium has two lights in either side, like this.
These are standard even on the 1958 in Canada, is that not the case in the US? They're adequate for my needs.![]()

My '22 4Runner Limited has liftgate lights integrated into the liftgate itself and do not light the cargo area at all. They quasi light the area beneath the tailgate. However, they are not LED, so they don't have much light coverage
They do have liftgate lights. Unfortunately there’s no switch to turn them off when the hatch is open, so if you want them off you have to implement a workaround such as using a carabiner in the lock mechanism as described by another memberDid the First Editions not all come with lift gate lights?
