Wanted to ask if the relay that came with your pair or lights was the only relay added when you installed the rectangular light switch in the factory location on your dash? I bought a similar switch from a online retailer in Florida, and their was a disclaimer that indicated i needed to buy their relay or the switch would melt.
Obviously I don't want that to occur, but have yet to run wires to the new switch for my setup.

I purchased the wiring harness separately, so only needed to connect to the switch. Three wire. I did not wire the back light. The harness came with the relay. I’m not a great wiring specialist, so left that to the experts.
